Dave McClenahan Sensei started his Karate training in 2013 after watching his daughters train for six months he thought he would give it a go. A few weeks later he passed his first grading. Since then he has been training consistently three times a week. In 2018 he along with his daughter Madison passed their Blackblet grading, a proud moment for both of them.
He enjoys all aspects of Karate but is drawn to Bunkai (applications) and the endless interpretations available.

During 2020 he started instructing under the guidance of Marty Sensei and has taken over the Ropes Crossing Dojo.
Dave is looking forward to being part of the next team when we are able to visit Okinawa (Japan) again.
